Leah Rose has enjoyed writing since she was a young girl living in rural New York. A Registered Yoga Instructor and Certified Family Herbalist, she holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the State University of New York and a Brown Belt in Nihon Goshin Aikido. Leah is passionate about yoga, meditation, the sublime Buddhist sutras and the art of natural living, which she shares both professionally and informally, simply for the joy of helping others help themselves. Leah's interests are reflected in many of her writings, including the novel A Drink of Green, two movies (Goodbye Tulum and Homeless in Encinitas), and a chapbook titled A Joshua Tree Kind of a Day, written while Leah journeyed for a solution to a medical condition called Multiple Chemical Sensitivities, with which she lives life fully.
