About the Author

William John Conaway's México experience began in June of 1961, when fresh out of high school he came to San Miguel de Allende for a visit. He fell in love with México, the people, and with his bride of now nearly 50 years. He's made a living here ever since, among his Mexican friends, hardly knowing any Americans at all. The contacts he did make made him realize the need for reliable information in English, and in 1986, he began his writing career. His books have been on sale continuously in San Miguel bookstores ever since, and now on the Internet.
