A Happy Book: Raising Positive Children
A Happy Book: Raising Positive Children is a fun learning book with illustrations for children. The purpose of the book is to help parents and teachers raise happy and positive children. During the day, we tell our children a lot of things, but we often forget to teach them the most important things that will help them become a better human being when they grow up. The book has thirty illustrations, and the task is to pick up one image a day and tell a story around it to your child or adding some more fun elements. The one illustration that you show the child, tell him to follow that thought with him throughout the day. Who said books have to be at bedtime? As soon as the child wakes up, the first thing you have to do is show him an illustration and make him understand the thought and why that particular thought or image is important for the child to be a happy and positive kid.

About the Author

Aashna Narula is twenty-four-year-old entrepreneur, teacher, and psychologist who runs a psychology training institute, Psychopedia in Chandigarh, India. She is guided by a single commandment in her heart: “Be compassionate to create a difference in the world.” She firmly believes that “to teach is to touch a life forever.” As an educator, Aashna finds herself guided by Benjamin Franklin’s famous quote, “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” She does not consider her students to be passive recipients of information; rather, students are valued, listened to, and their queries and opinions respected and encouraged. She believes in inspiring students, helping gain insight, and developing a love for learning. Her job as a teacher does not limit her to help the students merely score good grades but prepare them to succeed in all walks of life. For her, the role of the teacher transcends to become a mentor and a counselor. Her hope is to raise happy and positive children.
