A Haunting. (The Age of Wonders Presents:)

In the Spring of 1968, the world as we knew it – the world as we understood it – changed forever. It was the year that 16-year-old Julio Gonzales first put on his homemade costume and took to the streets of Brooklyn as the superhero Speedy.

Gonzales had the gift of superspeed, granted to him by a genetic hiccup in his DNA that made him more than human; that made him a mutane.

He was among the first, but he would not be the last.

But while superheroes are prevalent around the world, not all of those who wear the spandex are heroic; some, like Angra, have their own agendas.

For the last nine years, eleven months and twenty-nine days, the billionaire entrepreneur Ethan J. Thompson has been haunted by the silent but deadly adversary, who seeks vengeance for the lives of her friends, killed by Thompson's security guards while protesting the building of an illegal resort on the beaches where their families lived. It has been a game of cat and mouse where they often don't know which is which.

But the game ends tonight. On the anniversary of the tragedy, Thompson and Angra will meet for the first time.
