About the Author

Raised in the Tidewater area of Virginia, Toni Anderson Roberts has written and appreciated poetry from a very early age. A wonderful childhood with three sisters close in age, she enjoyed the mysteries of nature, collecting a wide variety of things including small reptiles and insects and each individually named (especially frogs and turtles to be shortly released), enjoyed writing and drawing and a general love for most animals which has remained throughout her life. She had parents always involved in church and could never imagine life without Christ at the helm; thus the reason for her first book. Becoming a published author is Toni’s life long dream come true and her sincere hope is that young readers will enjoy this collection of rhymes as much as she enjoyed writing them.
