About the Author

Emanuele George Scalco is an Italian-American immigrant, who against all odds, earned a degree in Physics from Drexel University and became an American citizen. During his career, he made many technical contributions in the telecommunications industry. He wrote his memoir, primarily to preserve this part of the family's legacy. George's greatest hope is that his story of perseverance, determination and faith, will serve as an inspiration to those in pursuit of their own American dreams.
