This is the story of an all-American boy. After growing up in a small town, I got up and left for a year to teach English as a second language in Daegu, South Korea. This was an incredible journey filled with sights, wonders, friends, trials, tears, and ultimately personal growth. Sprinkled with my satirical humor - especially when making fun of the egocentric approach most Americans take toward life outside the USA - I explore a world that is completely alien to most people in my country. In this book I chronicle my exploits and adventures for the sake of sharing them with my friends and family, as a keepsake to always remember this incredible experience, and to show anyone who feels like they're in way over their head that you just can't give up. About the Author

Salutations, dear readers! My name is Chris. I've been a writer since I started writing fanfiction in elementary school. My first book, "Awaken: The Hollowstone Chronicles" was originally printed by Tate Publishing in 2009. I have since left Tate and am now publishing exclusively online. My favorite genres are horror, suspense, mystery, fantasy, and sci-fi. I used to encourage folks to check back often, but writing has taken a backseat to every day life lately.

The first three books of my Hollowstone Chronicles are available and are in Premium Catalog status! Book IV has been outlined and... that's about it for now. Book V is... well, it's in there somewhere. Stay tuned! I have also written a book about my experiences as an American teaching English in Korea. I've taken up several smaller, but definitely significant writing projects. I took my first swing at including LGBT writing in my arsenal with "Both Sides of the Fence." My first piece of LGBT fiction is a novella titled "Pieces." I plan to expand and explore this genre later with that copious time we all have in abundance. :)

Other than that, I'm an English teacher, a martial artist, a linguist, and a pretty darn good cook if I do say so myself. I'm originally from Dublin, VA, but I relocated to North Carolina after living for three years in Baton Rouge. When I figure out what I want to be when I grow up, I'll let you know.
