About the Author

I was a in the computer field, doing everything from fixing their hardware, operating systems development, networking and network tools, search engines, teaching, you name it. In one day, I found a hardware bug in a new computer, a software bug in the compiler and a bug in the microcode. I gave solutions to the first two. I did everything in the biz except write microcode, sell them and design chips. I have fixed computers in airplanes, trucks, railroad cars, boats, satellites (before they left the earth), and more. I even have my code running in space.
I had fun.
But, I was medically retired because of a bad back, and then suffered two strokes.
I am now on a fixed income of $144/month and living in a dom-hostel.
My mind is the only escape.
