About the Author

Dr. Suzanne Soliman is founder of the Pharmacist Moms Group. She earned her PharmD from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), completed a residency in primary care with an emphasis on education at Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy and a teaching fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. She is a board-certified medical affairs specialist. Suzy worked as a clinical pharmacist, a medical science liaison and national field team educator prior to becoming an Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs at UIC and an Associate Dean at Touro College of Pharmacy New York and an independent pharmacy owner. Currently, she is the Chief Academic Officer for the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs.
Dr. Rosalyn Padiyara Vellurattil has served as an educator, researcher, and mentor in academia since 2004. She is currently Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs at University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy, and holds appointment as a Clinical Associate Professor in the department of Pharmacy Systems, Outcomes and Policy. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, completed a specialty residency in primary care with a focus on education from Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy, and fellowship training in teaching excellence at the UIC College of Medicine. She was the recipient of the 2016 American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Award for Excellence in Assessment, the 2018 Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions Award for Excellence in Educational Design, and the 2019 AACP Rufus A. Lyman Award. She is also an alumnus of the AACP Academic Leadership Fellowship Program.
