About the Author

Winter Giovanni, is a native of Norfolk, Virginia. She is a mother of five and currently seeking her associate's degree at Thomas Nelson Community College then her Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Norfolk State University. Ms. Giovanni started writing her first of five urban novels five years ago. She was inspired by rap artist/actor/author LL Cool J aka James Todd to write, The Rise and Fall of a Hustler. Living the life of a hustler's wifey including ducking bullets and getting robbed, Ms. Giovanni knew she had a story to tell. Thus, as she began breathing life into her ink pen, she soon thereafter completed her first manuscript. It lay dormant for two years due to her enduring many trials and tribulations. Soon after getting her feet planted back onto planet rock, Ms. Giovanni became a hurricane and nothing would stop her from getting her book to her future readers.
