Ava of Elliedew
Ava has a secret; one that will condemn her to death if the villagers find out.
While she enjoys a semblance of peace in her secluded Elliedew home, the burden of trying to hide the secret begins to tear her mind apart.
Reflections and dreams are no longer safe and leaving the Elliedew in search of answers may be her only choice. However, the realms beyond her little home are frightfully dangerous. There are many creatures that, if tales are to be believed, will gleefully hunt and kill an unarmed girl.
Ava knows fear only too well, but courage . . . is that beyond her grasp?
Rharn of the Kyra
Summoned by the griffin-wizard, Rharn agrees to undertake a quest; track down the Enarie Light and bring it to Tellus Deeth.
With the rest of the Kyra at his back, the mission seems simple enough. After all, the realms of Eirn'tarr hold no terror they've not faced before . . . or so Rharn thought.
Little is he prepared when, upon meeting Ava, his duty is tested in the form of desire. However, he is an immortal warrior who lives by the sword. He does not submit to emotion!
With only the Kyra and one would-be knight standing between her freedom and the demons of Raggoth, will Ava survive the arduous journey to find the answers she so desperately seeks? And will she ever see her beloved Elliedew again?
