A Season For No More Excuses
A Season For No More Excuses is a collection of my personal writings. Often inspired by lessons studied in Sunday School and readings in my daily devotionals, I wrote about what God put on my heart. A past Sunday School teacher of mine felt I had a book in me. In caring for my ailing mother, I put off many things, including my writing. Now that she is at rest with Our Heavenly Father, I have No More Excuses. I share these writings, in hopes that you will find the same encouragement as I did while writing them. After twenty years of marriage to her first husband, Liane met fellow widow USAF Senior Master Sgt. Dennis Rowe. She is a resilient stay-at-home wife and mother of their blended family of four grown children, one granddaughter, and until recently, two senior pound puppies. Liane is a breast cancer survivor, five years and counting. She has been a health and nutrition advocate and mentor since 2002, proving that there is life after sugar. After attending The Art Institute of Pittsburgh many years ago, she now designs her own line of greeting cards to use in her encouragement card ministry.

About the Author

I was born in Canton, Georgia in December 1939. Due to complications from birth, I was born partially paralyzed on my left side. Within two years, I lost my right eye and eyeball due to a tumor. Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, I was able to complete my education with a BS degree in Education from Tift College. I worked for the State of Georgia for twenty-two years to include teaching school and working for the Disability Unit of Social Security as an adjudicator of disability claims. For the past 44 years I have resided in Smyrna, Georgia.
