About the Author

Mrs. C. Evans was born in California. As a young child, her parents moved to Chicago, Illinois, where she was raised. She now resides in Northwest Indiana. Mrs. C. Evans worked in the home-health field for twenty years until she became disabled. She is a widowed mother of two sons and grandmother of five. When she is not writing, she volunteers for her community through the Froebel Community Council, an organization that provides a monthly prayer breakfast, a yearly back-to-school fest, and a neighborhood cleanup drive. She attends the Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, where she is a member of their choir and chairman of their programs committee. This is Mrs. C. Evans’s first published work. Because of the inspiration this story has given her, she continues her passion and goals for writing. She is currently working on her second manuscript for publication.
