It's 2034, and society is dominated by technology and almost bankrupt of direct human contact. Phoebe Bernhart is a nurse in the "neuro ward" at Grady Hospital in Atlanta when her youngest brother becomes one of the first victims of what is soon dubbed Hyper-Aggression Disorder.
When Phoebe suspects a technological cause, her strange, beautiful, antisocial new acquaintance, Mila Bremer, a software engineer, agrees to help. Mila may be part of the cure... or she may be the cause... or maybe she'll prove to be indifferent to the fates of thousands of people, including Phoebe's brother.

This is the second book by this author.definitely giong to read all i can get my hands on.set in a future we can already see.relevant.
Received this book free for review from Grey Gecko Press Advance Reader Program. Conspiracy theories, the Amish, big business, and technology run amok. This was an exciting book that I just couldn't put down. Set in future, a disease it making it was through the U.S. and it up to Phoebe and Mila to figure out what is going on before it’s too late. It’s an interesting look at the future where a majority of civilization communicate only through smart tech that is implanted into the brain. It wasn't to hard to see any of this happening in real life. It had me riveted from beginning to end.
