Overview

According to Jesus? by Mike L Anderson

What would Jesus think about drugs, dinosaurs, superheroes, guns, Christmas trees, fairies or gaming? Although he said nothing about these things specifically, it is possible to be deeply and positively influenced by the Person, life, resurrection and especially the death of Christ while investigating the facts. This book shows how.

This book tellls us what someone may think is Gods thoughts are instead of what the bible teaches us which people believe instead of what the HOLY BIBLE TEACHS US!

I like this guys ideas, and I agree with most of it- a few miner differences but hey. His ideas are MOSTLY Scriptural, but somethings he said are not Scriptural. All in all a 4-star book.

I thought this was a great & refreshing read even though i am a firm born-again fire breathing Creationist & to be honest pretty much anti-gaming & unfortunately fairly black and white in many manners of my walk with the Lord. Hoever, this brother is firmly rooted & grounded in Christ crucified & risen & if you take time you will see he is strong in the faith! Thanks bro; this was totally interesting & helped unpack God out of my box a bit more. - casey from Minneapolis

It gets half a point taken off becuase it feels like a collection of articles rather than a book. It get points because it is nice to see someone being intelligent when so many are eh, let's face it, stupid for Jesus - such as the reviewer who says,  "This book tellls us what someone may think is Gods thoughts are instead of what the bible teaches us ..." I don't whether to laugh or cry. There is no chapter and verse on things like drugs, dinosaurs,  fairies or superman because the Bible doesn't mention them. What is needed is a thoughtful, Christ-inspired imagination - and the author provides.

I love this book because it ralks about Jesus and what he did in life and that he had to go through so much as a kid and then when he was growing up he got killed on the cross by the romans and the jews who didnt like him or his teachings but i love what he does

I just hope you guys with the negative comments realize that the "Holy Scripture" Was written mainly hundreds of years after christs death, put together with only the most fantastic stories meant to convince pagans to convert. The book of revelation is just a prophecy of the destruction of the roman empire by a christian revolt. Nice book.
