About the Author

Naomi is a dynamic psychotherapist, author, speaker, and adult Bible class teacher.

Her two books are Wrestling with Angels and After the Apple. The first, is a historical, psychological and spiritual analysis of what the First Family of Genesis teaches us about our spiritual identity, sexuality, and personal relationships. The second book explores the strong and defiant women in the Bible - their timeless stories of love, lust and longing. In this powerful blend of history, psychology and storytelling, women will recognize their own struggles to love, mother and to work their way through a complicated and dangerous world.

Born in Haifa, Israel, Naomi attended the Reali School and majored in biblical studies and Literature. After service in the Israeli Navy, she married American-born Peter R. Rosenblatt, now a practicing lawyer and former U.S. ambassador. She earned her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Catholic University and has a private psychotherapy practice specializing in individual and marital counseling.
