About the Author

Callie Harper writes hot, fun, page-turning romances. She is powered by coffee, wickedly sexy bad boys, and all things funny, intentional or otherwise. Born on the East Coast where she learned the joys of fast-paced sarcastic banter, she and her family are now kickin’ it in the West Coast sunshine. On any given day there’s a good chance you’ll find Callie outdoors enjoying the gorgeous Bay Area, but if she’s indoors she’ll likely be reading, writing or eating, preferably all at once.

3.5 Stars When I read the blurb for this one, it grabbed my attention and I wanted to read it. It was set in Scotland and I love everything Scottish, so I had to read it. It reminded me a little of Beauty and the Beast but with a modern take and I liked it. Because lets me honest who doesn’t like a brooding/damaged hero???? Ian is a mean brooding man vs Annie’s good natured, wants to help everyone. Put them together and sparks are going to fly and they did!

All I Need: Ian & Annie by Callie Harper combines a beauty and the beast story with scotch, two of my favorite things (coffee also makes it's existence known, so really three things). Ian Douglas lost a lot at a young age due to an accident and now nearing 30 he has holed up in the family's run down Scottish castle. Annie Mitchell had given up a lot in her 25 years, being a second parent to her younger sisters and brother with Down's syndrome. While she has not begrudged taking care of her family, being hired by Ian's father to be his caretaker for 6 months, with exorbitant pay, gives her a way to make the money she needs to support her family and get her own life started in Edinburgh. In classic beauty and the beast fashion, Ian is a grouch and he starts off on the wrong foot with Annie. Through various threats Ian's father convinces him to invite Annie back. I liked how it takes time for their relationship to progress, it is a serious case of fits and starts with one step forward two steps back being the norm. Annie's curiosity, forthrightness and innocence break through Ian's guard and draws him in more than other women, family or friends have been able to. It was also somewhat refreshing that the story veered from the classic beauty and beast story and Ian really does have to hit rock bottom to be redeemed, this was not a case of Annie coming back to him but of him fighting for both himself and for her. All I Need provides a blend of great characters, passion, and eroticism that is very well balanced by the love between Ian and Annie. I liked that it wasn't easy, but also that the characters were willing to understand each other and give that chance for redemption. In the end, All I Need by Callie Harper, was a fun passionate, dynamic story with characters you really care about. I very much recommend. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book I received for free in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review)

This is book 4 in the All In series and it features Ian and Annie. This highly anticipated book was well worth the wait. We finally meet the reclusive Ian. We also meet Annie, the caretaker hired by his father. I was completely taken off guard by his proposition and her answer to it. Sizzling! She is the light at the end of his tunnel, if he's willing to reach for her. Ian's such a fickle man and I'm surprised Annie stuck around at all. I guess like calls to like. Two people, virtual prisoners in their homes. One voluntarily and the other not able to say no to what keeps her there. As confusing as Ian is, watching their blooming romance was beautiful. Brilliant story line with awesome characters. I was hooked from the first page to the last! This is a fabulous series that I'm satisfied with but a little sad that this is the last book. What a ride! Thank you Callie Harper.

Callie Harper ends her All In series with the mysterious and wonderfully kinky hero of Ian Douglas. Ian's the fourth friend in the group who as young boys stole a boat for an ill-fated joyride. Of the four friends Ian's the only one who was physically maimed during the horrific boating accident. Bound to a wheelchair he's hidden himself away in a decrepit Scottish manor. His father's tired of Ian being a bitter and drunken lay-about and gives Ian an ultimatum. He hires a caretaker, Annie, a young woman optimistic to a fault and to Ian's delight is still a virgin. She takes the job in order to earn a lot of money in a short period of time. She wants to get out from under her familial responsibilities. Eventually getting into graphic design once she earns enough money to move to Edinburgh. Ian has the potential to be delightfully kinky due to his aversion to become emotionally attached to anyone. He has a history with women, add his wealth, and *middle-of-nowhere-living-situation* giving him the means to be a major kinkster. With Annie's mid-twenties virginity there is a lot of opportunity for Sexy Fun Times. However, Ian falls rather fast for Annie and he doesn't have experience with boy/girl romantic relationships. Therefore things don't go much further than serious foreplay for the first 3/4 of the book. The reasoning is perfectly understandable and justifiable however I felt teased for so long. "All I Need" is a sweet and romantic story that just lacks some *oomph*. The storyline is mellow and lacks the thrills and tension of the previous books. I had rather high hopes for "All I Need" and surprisingly Callie Hutton didn't pull it out this time. This is my first Callie Harper book and I really enjoyed Ian and Annie's love story. Ian has been on a accident 15 years ago and is scarred and hurt (emotionally and physically). Annie is a 25-yer old good girl who helps her mother and siblings and receives a good offer to be Ian's caretaker in a distant castle in Scotland. In the beginning it is quite dense but the love story slowly unfolds for the reader and we engage in a wonderful tale. These two people go through a lot but they survive and most of all discover each other. I will check it out more books of this author and recommend this one.

What can I POSSIBLY say about All I Need by one of my ALL-TIME FAVE authors, Callie Harper?! To start with, I'm really sad that this is the last book in the All In series...but I think it's the best of the bunch! I loved every one of the books and the characters in this series and I will miss them like I'd miss a favorite relative that moved away! You can visit, but it's never quite the same! So, this is Ian and Annie's story and if you've read the other books in this series, you'll know that Ian is the damaged one, the broody one, the one who has cut himself off from everyone...but not much else! All I Need is, by far, the most angsty, emotional story in the series! I can't tell you how many times I either wanted to throttle Ian or cry from the pain he was in! I understood the WHY'S, but I still wanted to give him a swift boot in the "arse"! "You've stumbled into the wrong castle during the storm, Belle. I'm not going to offer you a pot of tea by the warm hearth"~Ian I totally fell in love with the sweet but feisty Annie! She takes NONE of Ian's s*** and gives it right back to him! "Bit of a wanker, isn't he?"~Annie talking to Ian about his father. "You could say that." "You are too sometimes, you know." "Yes, I am." This is an emotional, gut-wrenching story that will definitely stay with me for a long, long time to come! I can't WAIT to see what Callie has up her sleeve for us next!! I would recommend reading these in order, but they are standalones so you can start with any of them! Just know once you read one, you'll NEED to read the rest!! "Ian, I love all of you. You're all I need." "I love your scars. They're part of you. I don't want you to ever doubt that." I didn't have any words. Annie taught me what true love really was. That was all there was to it.

This book was everything I hoped it would be! I have eagerly been waiting for Ian story ever since we heard about him in book 1 of this series. He was the damaged friend that we don't really know too much about. This book reminded me a lot of Beauty and the Beast as Annie heads to a dark castle to care for Ian who lives as a recluse and hates the world. He lashes out at her all of the time, but at the same time is captivated by Annie. The writing was great as the author paints the agonizing pain that Ian has lived with for 15 years. Annie is also held captive in a different way. She takes care of her family and never puts herself first. Annie and Ian find the strength to make changes in their life from each other. I loved watching this story unfold and I loved watching Ian become the man I knew he'd be. I've loved his character from the beginning. I'm a sucker for the tortured heroes. Ian and Annie's story did not disappoint. I'm sad to see this series come to an end. I've loved getting to know these guys and the strong women who have become their partners. Great read!

What love about Callie's books, you feel all the emotions the characters are going through and super hot steamy scenes alll in one story.... Ian is angry, stubborn, and needs control... Annie is has big heart, a bit naive, but is exactly what Ian needs... Reading this love, love watching their story... Intrigued from the beginning, ....broke my heart in the middle... ........repaired it at the end! Must read, can be read as stand alone.. ...but once you read this, you will want the others in this series
