About the Author

Glenn and Sasha live in Arizona with their imaginary cat named Muffy, who is blamed for any missing socks or other objects, as well as any unexplained noises.

The authors are artists who love painting, sculpting, carving, pyrography and more. Other interests are swing dancing, archery, rocketry, reading and of course, writing.

Sasha holds two law degrees, has a great sense of humor and wonderful imagination, who is writing several upcoming novels of her own.

Glenn has suffered from dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia most of his life, and wanted to try his hand at writing, and created the Amanda Ackers Series with Sasha contributing several chapters and doing the really hard part the editing.

More than anything, the authors want those with learning disabilities to know that, for many, they can overcome their challenges and do things they never dreamed they could. For those with dyslexia (who have a difficult time writing), Glenn suggests using a microphone and voice recognition software. The beauty is that, as you speak, the words will flow across your word processor. Remember dont worry about the editing until after its written just get the story down first.

What story lives in your imagination? Bring it to life just write.

I loved book one of this series. In this new book, within the first few chapters you are spellbound within the action. You have got to read this series if you haven't started. Best I've read in years.

I love this series! I actually feel as though I know Amanda, Thian, Tianna, Tia, Sadie and the others. Book one was outstanding to say the least, but book two rocks! Like another reviewer had mentioned, this book has lots of action, adventure and, yes, it answered many of the questions I had from book one, but has introduced many new ones. I love the chapter on the Boogie, and the fight scene with the spiders was great! Cliff hanger ending. Can’t wait for book three.

The repetitive details and over usage of italics aside (and yes... I read Appendix A), i stuck with Book 2 to hear the story which actually very nice. The biased and begrudging tirade about Christian Catholics was left out, which made me happy. Boy, I could go on a long time about how wrong it was to put that in a "children's" book, but I won't. But one thing that always bothered me was that once the group got out of a "danger" zone, everything became hunky dory. The overbearing convenience of limitless... wizitchal technology makes for a boring story without any real danger. Amanda hardly has ti leave her comfort zone of Earth because there is always an ATM and a burger joint around the corner.

Outstanding Book! Honestly, this is the best series I have ever come across. Loved book one, and read it to our three kids. This second book is even better. My kids can't get enough of it, actually, either can I or my wife. Anxiously waiting for book three.

Book one was great. This book is truly outstanding. The Bone Pit in chapter three really kept me turning the pages. Then I laughed in “Captured,” chapter six at Thian. Chapter ten, “One Wild Ride,” was exciting and the flaming rock people were very interesting. Shadow Alley was one of my favorites, and the character Wind Rider which we see near the end of the book, I somehow think we’ll see again. The great witch Bellinora, and her mother in the green vapor are terrific characters. I love how this book answers so many questions I had, but tosses in new ones. One of the best series I’ve ever come across. Can’t wait for book three!

Wow, and I thought book one was outstanding. Like book one, this one soon starts with lots of excitement… made my skin crawl within the first few chapters… loved it! Very interesting characters in this book. I love how the book also answers many of the questions I had. At first, I thought Amanda had gone through way to many adventures on and within the mountain, and could not understand how a young girl could have survived all she went through. Now, I know why! This series just gets better and better. I would recommend this series to everyone.

Book two answers a lot of questions I had from book one, such as, why Amanda spent so much time on and within the mountain. Also how she was able to do all the things she did, being just a young girl. Wow… I love this book even more than book one! This book has tons of excitement, lots of adventure, and we meet new and very interesting characters. I really like Bellinora and jasmine! If you have not read this series, you need to begin now.

Loved the story line. I believe any fantasy reader, whatever his age, will enjoy this story. I look forward to getting the third book of the trilogy.

As the story progresses you can see the improvement in the writing and story telling, i like how the words are sometimes in italics like someone is telling a story

I too had issues with the editing and the overdone cypher descriptions, as well as some of the repetitiveness. The characters do seem to have a habit of forgeting they are in a life and death struggle...that being said, the series is evolving and getting better, and i will keep reading. Last thing...nice thought with trying to write as if this was a story being told to you by a bard..just be nice having THE wOrdS that ARE emphasized make sense.

Just finished reading this to my children. We all loved it! This book answers lots of questions from book one, and introduces new, very interesting characters. You'll love this series and so will your friends and family. I highly recommend this series.

Slow and disjointed second book. In a hurry to get away from bad guys but hey let's sit in one place for hours and 1000 pages and go no where. Interlude only serves week pretext for sudden acceleration of control by protagonist,

I’m a member of a book club in California. We have 18 members and for once, we all agreed we loved not only the first book of the series, but this second book of the second edition even more. If you love a great story, lots of action, characters you will love to follow, I highly recommend this series.
