Anointed Moments

Overview

The title of my book originated from moments that I have clearly heard from God in the midst of my trials and tribulations in life. Consistently, studying the Word of God, praying without ceasing, and fasting without ceasing in all things have been a vital part of my staying connected with God. Trusting God's timing and not my own timing has also been a vital part of my Christian experience. God and He alone could allow me to have moments of joy in the midst of pain and sorrow. My decision to accept Jesus as my Savior and Lord has long prompted to do all that I can to get others to join the winning team. His Spirit has led me to many utterances as only it can do. Looking back over my life, knowing with certainty that God has been with me all the way, has kept me moving toward my ultimate destination.

About the Author

His love for people has been shown throughout his life experiences naturally and spiritually. The author was formally educated in the North and the South. He attended Sandhills Community College, CW Post Long Island University, Pembroke State University, and A&T State University. He has served as a teaching parent, social worker, and social work supervisor for the Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, served as school counselor/social worker for Moore County Schools, and has served as an outpatient therapist for Cardinal Clinic. Presently, he is serving as a bereavement counselor for children and adults at First Health Hospice. Spiritually, he is a Christian, who is an ordained elder. He has served as a pastor of a church; taught and continues to teach Sunday school, Bible study; and evangelizes where and when duty calls. It is the author’s firm belief that this book will lead others to make the right decision about where they want to spend eternity. His anointed moments with God are the result of his ongoing love relationship with him, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
