About the Author

David Dvorin (Chico, CA) is an Emmy-nominated composer, arranger, performer, and music producer. He has composed music for film, video game, and television projects, and has worked with the Kronos Quartet and renowned composer Terry Riley. He is currently composing for concert works. In addition to his musical activities, David helped develop the education market for eMagic, Inc. (the original developer of Logic) and Apple Computer. A frequent presenter at music technology conferences, David is currently a professor of music composition and electronic music at California State University, Chico.
