A Short Hint

Here are some hints on how to use this laboratory manual. Users can choose what kind of laboratories they would like to use during a semester, or they can spread the laboratories over 2 semesters, combining theory and practice. Choices can also be made from easier laboratories for introductory content or a harder laboratory for senior classes. The book will complement most physiology of exercise syllabuses from introductory level to higher ability courses as it is comprehensive and covers a wide range of topics. Also, there are laboratory questions for every chapter with marks allocated. The marks allocated can be changed according to the user's preference and can be used in assessment components for passing the module. The students must interpret the results/data of the laboratory sessions to the best of their knowledge and use references from the literature that can be included to substantiate their results or findings. All references used have to be included in the laboratory report if the user is marking and giving feedback to the students. In addition to the diagrams required by the questions, additional diagrams may be used to illustrate the results.
