Asteroid Fever

Gold fever 2034, a stormy, surrealistic, new world, ruled by industrialists. In 2020, the smallest things changed a world, fast forward to 2034 to a word split between eaters of gengineered food made by frementators peppered daily with vaccinations, sippers of SIPs, synthetic insect blood laced with probiotics from Mars or those bound by the sharer's cure.

Today you can experience what tomorrow will be like, where trading in bad food can end a presidency, or a body can end up in an oversized brightly colored motorized vitamin capsule with internally generated food and energy sources.  Overnight the asteroid space dust mining industry transformed the world into a free energy metropolis with flying cars and high speed elevated trains, as common as roadways, crisscrossing the land everywhere.

Chose a new life by joining the growing legions of Sippers, who sip Martian microbes bathed in synthetic insect plasma, hoping for immortality. That is, if they don’t die first. Or practice traditional nanotech medicine in your own kitchen by consuming your mandatory daily dosage of vaccines and drugs blended into restaurant quality daily meals, made from recycled garbage by frementators.

Follow reporters as they hilariously blend humdrum soap operas, gritty real life news, and household product commercials into showcase presentations, while disgruntled workmen chip out huge underground water reservoirs on the Moon and Mars. Meet Merackle, the crazy industrialist, whose miracle self-sealing foam launched space habitation by auto sealing leaks, blocking space junk, and creating instantly inflatable orbiting buildings. Relive the past through the eyes of sight shifter detectives as they search through time to solve crimes.

Fake News dreamed up by Prezz Gredloy, broadcast by Dreaming News, sends a space fleet without space ships to fabulous low Earth orbiting Elevator City. Unable to win any battles on Earth, the plan is to conquer imaginary aliens and take control of Free Space. The only ones standing in Prezz's way, are a small group of ordinary working people, and the Pleiadeans working for the Pleiades Hydrosphere Cleaning Service, and both groups are only interested in furthering their own goals. It's only when their objectives become objects of Prezz Gredloy's greed do they band together. But is it too little, too late, to stop the Remaining Eastern States from taking a bite out of Free Space. A surrealistic science fiction story where nothing is what it appears to be.
