About the Author

William E. Brown is lead pastor of NorthStar Baptist Church and an assistant professor for Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been involved in church planting and ministry in Washington, Alaska, and North Carolina. He was an army aviator, commercial fisherman, guide, charterboat operator, and public school teacher giving him a passion for the unchurched and unevangelized.

Bill developed the North American church planting track at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary while serving as assistant professor of evangelism/North American church planting and the North American Mission Board Nehemiah Project Director. He and his wife, Kathy, have three married sons and live in North Carolina. He has a Ph.D. in Applied Theology/Evangelism, M.Div., and M.Ed.
