Autism Grows Up

When my son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of four, I didn’t have someone sit down with me and tell me what the next twenty years of his life might look like. There were books by doctors and therapists available at that time but very few books by parents who walked this road before me and could smile from the other side.

I am not a doctor or a diagnostician. I cannot suggest therapies or techniques or diet plans. What I can tell you, though, is what I have learned as a mother in my twenty-two years of raising a son with Autism.

If I can encourage one family, I will have done what I set out to do.
