About the Author

I have practiced law in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for over thirty years. I grew up in Lisbon, a small town in rural North Dakota, and I still own and summer at the Larimore Mansion, a restored five-story Victorian home near the Red River. I was a registered nurse and practiced nursing in Fargo, North Dakota, for over ten years before going to law school. My focus in the law has been primarily regulatory/administrative law. In my practice, I represented several New Mexico state agencies, with my favorite client being the New Mexico Board of Veterinary Medicine. I love animals, especially dogs, a have two greyhounds, Lola and Bimba. I have been married to a bankruptcy lawyer for thirty-six years.
