About the Author

Mike Fountain was born on the Eastern Shore and still lives there today with his wife and siblings. He has been writing poems, short stories and novels since he was seven. Autumn Leaves is a novel written when he was fifteen. It was his first attempt writing a story amidst the community in which he lived. Today many places and stores mentioned in the book have disappeared and the small town has grewn into a metropolis. Mike worked in the nursing field most of his life and retired April 2014.
