Frances F. Berdan is an American archaeologist specializing in the Aztecs and Professor Emerita of Anthropology at California State University, San Bernardino.

Richard E. Blanton is Professor Emeritus of Anthropology at Purdue University.

Elizabeth Boone is a specialist in the Pre-Columbian and early colonial art of Latin America and Professor Emerita of Art History, Aztecs, Pre-Columbian, and Colonial Latin America at Tulane University.

Mary Gottshall Hodge (1946–1996) was a Professor of Anthropology at the University of Houston–Clear Lake.

Emily Umberger was a Professor in the Department of Art History at the University of Arizona.
