Chapter One
CURIOSITYI'm curious—perplexed by the unknown
Awesome—bewildered by your wit
I wonder why I'm stunned as I sit
My eyes search for it, my ears listen
My senses are alert—The world I own
I feel for thee—I taste thee
Now I hold the key to then see
Curiosity—still wondering the truth
My oh my how my eyes do glisten
How inquisitive and eager to know
To inquire of the curio thee arts
What per se—such as that as eagerness
To be eager to learn, eager to see
The iris feeds me—I stimulate
Yes indeed, I stimulate my brain
The id—searching for the imagery
What do I vision—the visual appeal
I'm still curious and bewildered
I'm learning and I do guess
Inside my head I conquer this
Mesmerized by thee I still inquire
The facts the truth to be known
I conquer in my head what I own
All the subconscious abilities
Thee conscious clues of varieties
The tale is woe, the curiosity
I see—I see—the opportunity!
ANIMOSITY
True Grit! The clash—we pose a fact!
Treacherous waters of the way you act
The blues—the calamity as well
Interpreted to be unwanted you tell
Animosity—to conclude you indeed
Interference with my day planted by seed
Oppose the calamity. Get rid of the blues
We opt to see sunshine truly if we choose
Day by day the sunrays shine so bright
The clash of personality into the night
The waters that splash and down the mountainside
As we climb—climb the hills not to hide
We can overcome anything day after day
The animosity of a problem to view
The opposition—hostility you overcome
It's a breeze to enjoy when done
Enmity—the hatred of thou till then
We achieve the results then too often
Often we see the treacherous problem
And work on our own life to have this
A competent confident thrill of ideas
We then have a functional attitude
And enjoy life immensely with platitude.
BEAUTIFUL
Opinionated thy be to then call something pretty
Beautiful—to be lovely or please the eye
Aesthetically pleasing one might say and why
Because the eye of the beholder we gratify
Once upon a time one might say beauteous
To be sensually lovely, the phenomena
To embellish—adorn decorate is to beautify
Imagine that—beauty the elegance
Loveliness—a particular pleasing quality or thing
Those qualities giving pleasure to the mind or senses
One might then say—to be or not to be
Beauty is shining ultimately down on to me
Hence—the Iris thus sees the imagery
The opinion—shall we say—to pacify
The dreamer—we see—thus with thee eye
Beauty—the imagery—we then exclaim
What thou the image is what our mind perceives
And capturing the charisma of what on then believes
Without a doubt one's belief of what is pretty
And relationships of its side-by-side effect
The opinionating aspect of thus pure beauty
We see it—yet do we also appreciate
Then admire thee the beautiful effect
Sensually the beauteous in awe the sight
The sense—admire with true delight.
You are beautiful! Yours truly, I see.
THE VOW
Morally—devoted to thus each other
Respect—self respect to another
Conditional love—unconditional love
Caring about your spouse in the skies above
Self love—loving yourself tis true
Bringing out the best truly in that you
Moral standards—not misconduct
Truly inspired by your intellect
Respect for that intellect too
Not condoning a dysfunctional nightmare
The vow—thee I love you
Devoted to your life our lives as well
And walk in life together under the sun
To say I do—means what you tell
The vow—you say shows that you care
And stick it out through thick and thin
Treasuring the relationship in moral love
Still showing your feelings with the stars above
I say—I love you, you say you love me
Thee sharing of no animosity
Thus thee vow means ever so much
The feelings you protect that you tough
And walk through life hand in hand too
Opposing hardship responsibly with you.
RHYTHM AND BLUES
The cleft—the notes played by you
The guitar—strumming the strings
The rhythm—the beat a rendez-vous
Beauteous, beauteous blues it brings
Singing the blues—pouring in the rain
When it rains it pours over and over again
Day by day the blues—I asked next
What about some happy tunes—per se
Beauteous, beauteous blue although
We oppose calamity we also then see
That misery still loves company
We listen to the blues—the cleft the note
The blues in the words she wrote
Rhythm and blues a catchy tune
On a happy note—you're not alone
The blues you sit by the phone
Opposing calamity you smile soon
The day ends another beauteous day
The aura in key blues were the only way
The guitar plays on and the piano tunes
The phone it rings its like crying in the rain
Yes it's crying time again, the blues and pain
A little piece of my heart and love opens the door
Singing the blues, when it rains it might poor.
The ring oh the ring of this the phone
On that happier note you're still not alone.
A WINTER DAY
The bright white still covered ground with snow
Storms they stopped, the land its powerful glisten
The sun shines down, and feeds its soul on the paths
Paths of life on a snow covered winters clear sky day
Treasured we hold deer to us, as nature plays on the mounds
Pending on other snowfall the bliss, to anticipate too
To endure the deep—seated blues inside we all must know.

BEAUTEOUS BE
Beauteous beauteous be
The sunshine crept down onto me
The dew set in and the day broke
Daylight exfoliating my face
A day of true awakening
A raindrop without a trace
The sun I tend to then soak
Beauteous beauteous be
Thee sunset now I see
Brilliant til thee edge of dark
Thee true colors deep and stark
Beauteous beauteous be
The consideration snow in sky
Mesmerized by the starry starry sight
Now I enjoy this, the night
THE PERFECTIONIST
Perfectionism—to be a perfectionist per se
Picture perfect, critical in nature to say
The perfectionist, constructive criticism
Round and round we go—to challenge the day
De ja Vous! Horrendous one might also say
Tedious—the criteria to be this way
The sign controls thus the personality too
What do you say? Tis it then a perfect idle
The key to perfectionism tis what we then conclude
To strive to be perfect at what we may do
The perfect painting, the perfect project
Glorious be in some fields-this is an excellent quality
Tis of true to be perfect or a perfectionist
Masters the arts the exceptional artist
In any field, balance thy worksheets
Audit thy drawer, the key to success
Picture perfect to strive for not a mess
To be the ultimate of thus also neatness
To be the perfectionist per se and equality
Equal you be in the job market and respected highly
To be or not to be perfect in nature your awareness
To be aware of such an endeavor rationally
Picture perfect, critical in nature your way
Balancing the act perfect I should say.
ELOQUENCE
My pretty, of beauteous charming eloquence
Beholding a beauty of selective choices of words
You speak so pretty—you charm the fellow
You set forth a beauteous aura—true too, Hence
True colors of wit, the stance of a proudness
You glow in the room, yes in deed of yellow
Caution, to speak to you in fact thee same
Charming—you're eloquence that might proclaim
Your stance stand tall! Set the mood too instead
A lady! True lady to speak also of wisdom
My pretty, the words of beauty do also blend
You choose then even so carefully and true blue
You cross paths in life with no envy of being just you
Beholding a beauty the words you choose I believe
The holding of your head so high the kindness in your eyes
You glow in the room with an eloquence of true surprise
Stand stall and proud with your head held high
Your class walks in the room the aura to mesmerize
Charming true colors of wit the choice was always yours
And the men open the door for you the meaning is ours
Ours to keep and remember that my pretty how much she tries
The aura of a proud woman a lady loving yourself
True love never brags, stand stall gracious be with you
And each walk I take, the charm, I'm with you in it myself.
THE WEEPING SIGNIFICANCE
Each day goes by, I tremble and sorrow fills my eyes
Tears in my eyes—puddles of teardrops should I be loving you more
You cheated on my heart and found yourself another
Day by day, I know in my heart you're only her
The eve sets in I sit home waiting for a call
Wondering whether it really ever worth it all
You cheated on my heart and fell in love with her
The nights one becoming nothing but a significant blur
Her you love, not me and her you then adore
Remember that as you're walking out the front door
The days go by as we separate and now
The day we met now means nothing somehow
The roses wilted and meant nothing really to me
The days go by, I'm trembling only for you to see
I'll pick up the pieces and pieces of my heart
And build a life without you, a brand new start
Now I lay me down to sleep and while I'm sleeping
My eyes will no longer think of you and are no longer weeping
Day by day, night by night and into the darkness of the eve
Once upon a time the love was there for us to then perceive
But now your cheating heart layed down the rules to say
I'm on my own and loving it now it's the rule today
It's worth it all to be alone and meet yet a different other
And once again the tears that dropped to you I'll find another.
COMPREHENSIVE ILLUSTRATIONS
To comprehend, understanding thee meaning of
I tend to write, through my Iris I see images
The written words, we see pictures in our brain
A picture tells a thousand words tell a picture
Imagery we call it too! A reality and truly sane
We read! What do we view? What do we perceive?
Is it real? Let's see or is it make believe?
These mental images in my eyes I retrieve
Comprehension, to truly get the meaning of words
Imagery, to illustrate selectively with language
I tend to see the sky, they may ask why
The sunshine rose after a downpour of rain
An arc of radiant hues, climbed the sky
The puffy clouds raced through each other
We read the blue sky, we see also the rainbow too
Mental image in our brain and the sun, clouds
To comprehend thee iris that of beauty
Pictures follow me everywhere I might go
Thee idealist and not an idiosyncrasy
I tend to hear, read to me, talk to me
See, I'm truly loving mental pictures so speak
The beauty of language with that of imagery.
FINDING THE DACTYL
Judgmental be that of thy words thee doth write
To poetize, gracious be the style to view
The climax, the punch line, the body and thou
Ending with, miraculous point unto
Find thee, find thee look and you shall seek
Where? Find it where? Where art thou, true
True love of thee, where do I find thee
Beauteous of words, the poet, what do you write?
Let it be the most precious of sight the Image
Imagine the dactyl, the rose in prose
Remember thee—Imagery of thus, per se
To the poet a rose your dactyl in some sort of way
Create the senses it's a challenge I'd say
Smell the aroma, taste it's beauty, the judge
In the finals amuses his day finding it
Find it where seek it now creative of writing
Morality to be finding the dactyl a job too you see
The point of view? Where is it? how art thou?
Carry on and find your own dactyl. If then the case

THE ELEGY (A POEM IN MOURNING VERSE)
Deep in my soul, I'll always remember
You are on my mind—in my life
Memories all lingering then I justify
I mourn—Miss your presence
I set forth to get over seeing you hence
Bountiful be thee glorious days
All those memories coming up just what to find
I love you—I love your ways
And you build strength daily too
Strengthening my life with only thoughts of you
You're in my past—I mourn occasionally
I see you in my precious photos
I keep you alive with special thoughts
Retaining mental and physical pictures of you
Remembrance—of your existence
Thoughts of loving you—Heaven can wait
To see you—you're a blessed soul
Writing this elegy you're completely whole
I still justify why you meant so much to me
The aura of keepsakes you I see
Blessings of your life in my past
I mourn and you're presence everlasting
I speak of special moments
I cherish our friendship dead or alive
Today—I relish what you can bring
And the muses in heaven, yes they do sing.
