About the Author

The author, Jane Hambree, was born and raised in Murphy, North Carolina. She has been a wife, mother, teacher, and guidance counselor. She and her husband raised a son, Sean, and a daughter, Sarah, while serving in the US Army for thirty years. During those years and beyond, Jane was able to work in a number of schools both overseas and in the States. After retiring, they moved back to Murphy where Jane became interested in photography. When a yellow Labrador Retriever puppy entered their lives, he became a willing subject, and Beemer’s Buddies was born.
