Gale has been a member of this ministry for a little over a year when she finds herself pulled into one of the most auspicious rituals that any member could be involved in. Said interested parties held another personal secret, though, that adds polyamory to her life. But what starts off as a whirlwind relationship opens her up to the darker world behind the curtain of the clergy. A vindictive Abbess steps out of the shadows as she begins her personal mission against the three. The long history between the men causes strain on the relationship as the mama's boy is stuck in disbelief, and the oldest of the three finds himself hurt by their actions.

What should have been harmless has instead pulled Gale into an ever-evolving nightmare that throws her back and forth, challenging her ability to stay afloat and make it out in one piece. Even with the guidance of others and the hand of an old 'friend, ' the weight of her world lands on her shoulders. She has to choose. Italy or California? Her timid Cardinal or the sweet Pope? Life?
