About the Author

Both Proud Indy Authors: Tarian like his twin, Talon, love to torment their editor with a nefarious world of foreign-language, slang, local dialect, stretched/outside-of-the-box definitions, and have even been known to throw in some new word creations of their own at times. This, of course, is all thrown in there with the dyslexia soup stock they both suffer from that makes editing for them a joy {joy: n. see mental illness}. However, the final product comes out as richly detailed as we believe all stories should be created: holographic worlds of love, pain, frustration, and challenges beyond the every day. We believe a good story should take you on an emotional ride, pluck your heart strings, and zing you about until you’re dizzy and screaming at the antagonist, while cheering for the protagonist before returning you to your cozy reading spot. And we’ve created these adventures within a mix of genres, so you can find the one right for you: Gay & Het Romances, Suspense, Paranormal and Sci-fi Erotic Romances, War-time Romance Fictions, along with Talon’s favorite Space Sci-Fi Frontiers, and Tarian’s favorite works of Post-Apocalyptic Dark Fantasies and Historical Fantasies. All for readers to submerse themselves into and escape from their day when they need or desire, and to whet your appetite for more.

This book is about Gage, a fitness instructor that has moved away from his old town and life. He takes a job at a local gym, in a seedy part of town, were he meets Boomer, the manager and someone that sparks an interest that he thought was long dead. But while Boomer gives him the cold shoulder he spends his days training local kids with high aspirations. First, I want to say this book was written very well, the reason for the 3 rating was because of the content.  We spent most of this book inside the gym with Gage and the kids training. Very little time with Gage and his potential love interest, Boomer until the last 15 - 20 pages or so and then it seemed very rushed.  I liked getting to know the kids, especially, Skye and following her through the steps of training and ‘watching’ her competes. I just would have liked a little less of that and more Boomer and Gage time, maybe outside of the Gym.   I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review by Crystals Many Reviews

This book had me taken in from the very start. I've always been a big fan of the M/M romance genre and this book only took that further. I picked this one up and didn't put it down until it was finished, and even then it was by protest. I was damn near holding my breath because there was no more. It ended WAY too soon for mind is never a good thing when left alone to come up with scenarios and situations on it's own...which is dangerous when I want to know more about a certain sexy bear couple......*laughs* Gage and Boomer hit my heart and pulled at every single string attached to it and then some. Learning that not everyone is as bad as they seem just because they are a big guy, or that they are gonna go easy on you because you put on a pout. The way Gage helps the customers to reach their full potential while breaking down some serious walls was amazing. Princess bring the story to life and brings the characters into your life in so many ways that when the book is finished, you may end up like me, tossing it against the bed in tears and crying for more.

One of the things that make Princess S.O. one of my favorite authors is she writes in a variety of genres, M/M, M/F, sci-fi, contemporary, paranormal, post-apocalyptic, BDSM, seriously steamy and warm and fuzzy. She has a good story for whatever mood you’re in. Big Spoon and Teddy Bear is one of the warm and fuzzy stories, in more ways than one. *wink* I will let you know I did get to read this story as it was written for submission into an anthology of short stories. It was a good story then and it is still a good story actually better because I get more of characters I fell in love with. I have to admit I’m kind of glad it wasn’t accepted for the anthology. (Sorry Princess) With the added content we get so much more not only from the story but the characters. Thank you so much for not leaving Gage, Boomer and those great secondary characters behind.  You know that saying “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”? Sometimes life and the people in our lives convince us what we have isn’t broke, when in fact it is. Gage is at a point where he is realizing this is where his life is, and he is doing something about it. He has left his promising career of training body builders and weight lifters in the big name gym and ritzy city. He has moved and taken a job in a not so ritzy gym in a part of town that you may think twice about going into after dark. What was he thinking? One more saying, “Everyone comes into your life for a reason.” This is another great aspect of this story. Some of the lives in this story have been intertwined because of bad reasons and some for good reasons. Watching the characters of this story lives unfold is a wonderful treat. Boomer the gyms manager is going to capture, break and rebuild your heart, as well as Gage’s. *grins* But sometimes you don’t get to keep the ones you want in your life forever.  Yeah there will be a few tears caused by this story. But this story will also show you that sometimes the best joy you can experience in life is not only showing someone they can achieve their dream, but to help them achieve it. So hit your comfy spot with the beverage of your choice and enjoy the second book in The Teddy Bear Collection by Princess S.O. *whispers* The bonus at the end of this story is really tasty. Give it a try!!
