Bilingual Book in English and German: Mouse - Maus - Learn German Collection (Learning German for Kids, #4)

This illustrated story has been designed for bilingual children and others wishing to read a parallel text in English and German. For ease of understanding, the languages are displayed together just one or two sentences at a time.
The aim was to make translation as direct as possible but always using everyday language of native speakers.
Basil, Rosemary and the Pansy sisters are lively, chatty little plants. They think they know some stuff, but when it comes to this animal, they know nothing. One wild assumption leads to another and gets them into big trouble.
Excerpt from the tale:
This week's favourite subject had been Mouse. Mouse was different. Mouse was an animal.
Das bevorzugte wöchentliche Gesprächsthema war Maus. Maus war anders. Maus war ein Tier.

Nobody really knew Mouse's real name but it must be Mouse. He had such a mousy face; his legs looked like a mouse's legs and he was so easily frightened.
Keiner kannte wirklich den richtigen Namen von Maus, aber es musste Mäuserich sein. Mäuserich hatte so ein Mausgesicht, die Beine sahen wie Mausbeine aus und Mäuserich war sehr einfach zu erschrecken.
