About the Author

Prof. R. Arun Ramnath received the B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from Anna University, Chennai, India in 2010 and M. Tech (Engineering Design) from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India in 2016. He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers (India). He has published numerous research papers and book chapters in the field of composite materials in peer reviewed international journals. His current research areas include composite materials, natural fibres and machining.
Dr. Sanjay Mavinkere Rangappa is a Senior Research Scientist at King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand, as well as an 'Adviser within the office of the President for University Promotion and Development towards International Goals.' He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers and a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) (India). In addition, he serves on the editorial boards of several international journals in the fields of materials science and composites. He serves on the review boards of over 100 international journals, as well as book proposals and international conferences. He has also presented research papers at national and international conferences and has written over 160 articles in high-quality international peer-reviewed journals indexed by SCI/Scopus, 6 editorial corners, 60 book chapters, one book, and 22 volumes as an Editor. Furthermore, one Thai patent and two Indian patents have been granted. He has spoken at a number of international conferences and seminars as a keynote speaker and as an invited speaker. Natural fiber composites, polymer composites, and advanced material technology are among his current research interests.
Sergey Gorbatyuk is professor of metallurgical equipment at the National University of Science and Technology MISIS, Moscow, Russia. He conducts research in manufacturing engineering, materials engineering and mechanical engineering. He is the author of more than 160 scientific articles, 6 monographs, 19 copyright certificates, 4 patents for inventions, 7 patents for utility models, and 2 certificates of registration for computer programs. He is also a member of the editorial boards and a reviewer of the scientific journals 'Metallurgist' and 'Ferrous Metallurgy'.
Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Steffen Fischer is the Institute Director of the Institute of Plant and Wood Chemistry from the year 2006. Steffen Fischer received his doctorate from TU Dresden, Germany in the year 1992. His research interests are in the field of bio composites and he has been the author of 90 research papers. He has been actively involved in research investigations of special research domains such as plant digestions, cellulose, polysaccharide derivatives
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Habil. Suchart Siengchin is President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB). He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Technology, and Material Science from German universities and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Kaiserslautern. He completed postdoctoral research at Kaiserslautern and Purdue University. A full professor at KMUTNB, he has received multiple Outstanding Researcher Awards. His research focuses on polymer processing and composite materials. He has authored over 350 journal articles and edited 30 books. Recognized among the world’s top 2% scientists by Stanford University (2020–2024), he also serves as Editor-in-Chief of KMUTNB IJAST.
