Chapter One

    Oh, she cute ...

suede boots, couple orange fruits, and no booty—

Curly hair, lush lips, braces, eyes ruby

    Oo I think i caught a contact

Oh what's up? Don't I know you already?

Birthday cake, bought you boyshorts &

    your homegirl the teddy?

Yeah, that's you ... how you do?

    Same ol' blasé conversation—

Haven't seen you in forever but I'm still so

    sick of chasin'

But hold up, now my heart is racing

    It's the face across the room;

Not the 1st sight but my heart's about to bloom ...

    little did I know

    But I was lovin' ...

Room turned to oven, it was her ...

She was all alone, lookin' busy,

    head up in them books

I hadn't been in love in seconds

but one split was all it took

Hooked; still in euphoric stupor for

what would be all too long

    Now I'm just gone

And I put that on everything I cherish

Girl shaded me a different world now that

I look back on my own merit

I had a star in my eye—

wide open and I liked it

    She can't be just another

    fish in the sea

    need a Drink ...

    drink ...

    thinking is she the one

    for me?

Maybe she's a
virgin ... I thought.

And here we go again ...

same shit, different day is at an end

    and I intend to be a lover;

    oh brother

    Temptress undercover presently gracin'

    Facebookin' in the library ...

    Me? Elated, very very—

    only cuz it's her again

Went a little nervous but I

    approach and play pretend

    Perfect ten

    extended me a glance,

Got me all stuck up in trance mode—

Froze the 1st hello ... cleared the throat

Yo you don't know me but I really wanna get to ...

ya name, number, age, ya sign,

n' some words you might get wet to—

Booboo relax a bit, I'm only jokin'

    Just hopin' for mutuality

    once upon a time ...

I'll never do you grime, I'm promisin'

    And so I promised

Exchanged a couple more comments while

    the night became a memory.

    But if you ask me?

It was plain to see we enjoyed the

    1st impressions

    despite difference in directions

But it's where it all began and now ...

    For my confessions.

She made me
spaghetti ... extra

(Least we got the same Moon)

Dragon meets Steed

Trick me? Nope, nope

I just knew she was a Virgo

Hold it down, queen crowned,

Never one for my clownin' BUT

still found her at the top of my list—

but my slick slipped up

before baby's Sun got to me.

Ticked & twisted,

slightly dissed and distant ...

that June 30 do me dirty,

19 five O plus 40

a damn Cancer she is ...

I'm like wait, that's not my wiz but

I guess I must've just fell for the Rising.

Utterly surprising once I felt that

Water kissin' me goodbye ... inside

Fire cryin'

but still

I'm steady in my Air

flyin' through rejection.

I know I made mistakes but

that's why they got corrections—

stay connected w/ me

and you shall always

be protected, affected for

nothing but the better—

so no more frettin' and I'm

bettin' she a Empress

so I go & check the tarot;

how narrow!

Turns out we both magicians ...

tippin' magic wands got our egos

trippin' with consistence;

still so different,

same in one

tryin' to dodge restrictions

more & more

but we let the games begin ...

Month 6 verse 10

Think I let her win?

So ... her name's
Amanda ... same B-day
as Mike Tyson ... LoL

    Every once in a blue—

    On the weekends ...

or when every other day brings a

    Blue moon—

    A brand new impulse ...

    then another

    Fingers, buttons;

    My mind missin' you &

    a couple others

but can I get a kiss please?

    LOL dependin' on the

    time n' place ...

    Wait, wait ...

    since I can't I'll give

    you one 1st

and this is not the 1st

along the lines of the 19-50th

    or somethin'.

    Anyhow I'm bumpin' ta somethin'

freSh up in the whip, just had a little sip

    And now I'm feelin' like

    you want me ...

    single-word answers—idc

    go ahead & taunt me—

Ya makin' me ya tease so

    mami please,

    just push a mixed message.

Then maybe we do the deed

    aggressive like—

    But then it reads

    No no, you know me bay;

    always playa playin' sayin'

    somethin' blind and/or

    Your answers, sporadic

    but I'll stick with this

    cuz shit gets across ...

    and nothing's at a loss

    or so I thought

    time and time again.

    Text, text ...

    OMG I'm back,

    And that defense of

    yours is sickening,

    surrender it. It's wack ...

    matter fact

    last time you responded,

I'm dying trying to remember it.

    Wonder, wonder why

    But I admit ...

I tend to get a little out of line like—

    a highly strung young man.

    Please get this thing

    up out my hand

cuz once again I'm textin' dizzy,

    busy kissin' you.

    And no one's laughin' but

I'd like to send a visual.

    Oh Ma Gawd

She doesn't ignore
them all ...

(Body language is universal—subconscious fantasies)

Just look at what you wearin'

    my heart drops

    Belgian beauty,

    half-splash of Nigeria,

    hear me out ...

    off the top, topless

    no not you, me—

    eager to please, ever ready

    to take it steady with

    the One.

    Come, come ...

    numb my cravings baby girl

take a seat, I'll start at the feet.

    Meet my lips,

go ahead & bite ya bottom

    grin like the devils do;

    you mind if I nibble?

Toes first while my fingertips quench

    ya thirst for me to

    move it on along—

long legs singin' a song to

    short strokes of my tongue;

elevatin' notes in ya moans ...

I get to taste a skin tone painted in

    the heavens.

    Lucky me, mighty you.

    Who knew we'd be writin'

    new psalms intertwined ...?

    Two ...

    Palms of mine slowly lose

    soft grips on ya thighs;

    eyesights collide,

    my heart drops ...

    you drop the jeans for

    me mama?

    Slow ... hypnosis-like ...?

    Slide down if you like—

The floor and I are all alone.

    Don't be shy, don't hold back;

Let my fingers tickle ya waistline

Wanna keep the panties on? Fine

    by me,

    I'll just pull and pop—

Stock you with the good hurt

    kinda feelin' ...

let some suction do the healin'

    if need be.

But silly me; I forgot about my

    baby neck ... guess you

    should expect that affection

    but for now I'm busy

    blessin' below the naval,

    body raving about ya heat—

    you just too delectable.

    Keep losin' ya mind,

mind if I select a position?

Or should I just keep every nerve

    of yours twitchin ...

    keepin' paces

    leavin' our hearts dropped—

    kiss me, melt.

    Liquid hips felt as

I caress the portrait under ya top,

    Key to lock,

    Just breathe baby ...

    let it out, like that....

I think she likes me at
times, you know?

Oh, hey crab!

You're lookin' rather fabulous!

But she's needin' my attention now,

and I bet you wish you had you this—

Now na, I'm not the pessimist, but you

don't even miss me.

So Filipino caught me lookin'

& I think she wanna frisk me ...

Feely touch pass,

then ya ass go walkin' by ...

keep it quiet, I try ... but

jealousy's for the birds &

my oh MY,

the option's

rather fly.

Now I'm dining,

precious time

with somebody's diamond

I charm the dames,

she trains dudes &

she rude a bit

just like me ...

now I think we on to the next ones;

text some—

free fun & then

I have another fan to see.

Next thing we sippin',

non-smokin' n' she just

got her cardiac broken by

some lame, cryin' shame, but

I wonder where you are—

sparkin' up karmic disadvantage

I'm pretty sure I can manage.

As for now, this Hispanic is lookin'

at me savage & I think

I want her to be my addict;

See the chance n' grab it &

before you know,

time to add another fan to see.

See no need for Manda,

I'll just be who I plan to be—

I mean I'll always be your fiend but

I mean ...

Have you not seen me?

On to yet another nude

the breakfast gets to makin' &

how I'd so rather be eating

with you ...

it's no nice but it's true.

Attachments grew

and I think I'm through with

having fans to see,

once again.

I want Amanda.

I've tried promiscuity
but ...

(Hope it was prophetic)

The dream I had, let me tell you

None quite like this & I've had many

    Very exotic this one ...

    A jewel

    Was a beautiful day

Just like any other would be

Sitting across from you, my lovely

    My problem, my ecstasy nonetheless

Dressed in yellow, stroking your hair

Eyes on you but you weren't looking at me

Instead fully focused on the baby girl in my lap

Fresh out of a nap, happy as can be

One look at her, black milk for hair & found myself lookin'

At we—wild hearts melded into one

The vivid vision entrapped my soul's content

No relent in my want for it all to be true; a reality

Believe I am careful for what I wish

    It's just ...

Our baby's skin seemed kissed by a

Honey butter sun, untouched by the evils

nor the darker sides of a living thought

Caught in captivation once I seen her smile

Made me do the same—bright, beady eyes

by the way; before I was taken away

from yet another dream, but I liked that one...

It's a great book for "Twilight" lovers and haters alike. Why? There's several reasons. It has the irresistable vampire and the headstrong human with a fiery passion and a kind heart. (And yes, this particular vampire has fangs, but lacks a reflection.) In a way, "bite me." is an antithesis of the exceedingly popular "Twilight" novel. Yes, it has the romance, but it's not the sugar-coated lovey-dovey-ness that gets some people (myself included) thinking "Dear god, someone please gag me with a spoon already." Jones, through her slightly unclear plot caters to an audience that the first book in that series that starts with a "T" fails to meet the needs of. That is, the action-seekers. In a grand total of 157 pages, Miss Fallon Jones manages to put in (what I felt was) much more intense combat than Meyer's four books combined. The best and worst part of the book is the heart-wrenching and bleak ending. Why is it the best part? We see the love that Holly has for Gerard, and what they are willing to do for one another. Now, why is it the worst? The second book is yet to be published.

What a fun read! I can't believe the author was only a teen when she wrote this. (13? 15?) Holly and Gerard are such dynamic, realistic characters and it was so refreshing to read a book where the female protagonist is just as brave, strong, and noble as her male counterpart. Holly is a great role model for girls to look up to - she speaks her mind, protects her friends, and actually gets decent grades, too. I found myself really getting into the minor characters as well. All in all it's a great young adult adventure that's safe for younger kids to read as well - there's some violence, but nothing too dark and no swearing. I'm looking forward to reading more of this writer's work!

I lived it and thought it pretty funny!!!!

This book was amazing. I loved Holly and Gerard and did not see the ending coming AT ALL. I really want to vent about it on here, but I guess you'll just have to read the book yourself and find out. There are lots of exciting twists and turns in this book. It was such a great lead in for The Jaws of Life. What a way to kick off a series.

But it was confusing at times one min she is saying let's watch a movie, and the next sentence Thay are half way finished. That happens a lot in this book. But I really like the book.

This was book surprisingly pretty good. It felt rushed at times but it's a really good vampire/angel story

This book wasn't bad but it could use some more work. I say she should have worked on it some more before she got it published.

I thought the story was an easy read and I like the characters.

If you want a 6th grade level book with a rather cliche plot, then this is the one for you. It's ad admirable first attempt from a teen author, the book itself fails to provide characters or a plot with much depth.

Awesome supernatural book written by a teen author! The sequel's pretty fantastic too!
