About the Author

Don Beere has loved suspense books as long as he can remember. This passion, his professional experiences, and his interests dovetail in this psychological thriller. He has bachelor degrees in physics and philosophy, a masters in experimental psychology and a doctorate in clinical psychology. He was a college professor, trained clinical psychologists and taught undergraduates. In his clinical practice, he specialized in trauma and "multiple personalities." He has been learning and teaching tai chi and meditation for over 40 years. He has written book chapters on the integration of Buddhism with modern physics and contemporary philosophy. While professionally active, he served on the board of an international society which honored him with the Distinguished Achievement Award. He has many professional presentations and publications. He retired in 2013 and currently teaches tai chi at the Ethical Society of St. Louis. He is also an artist who specializes in abstract photography.
