I could not put this book down until the very last word! The setting descriptions were so vivid that the author made me feel as if I were right there on The Outer Banks. One immediately forms strong sentiments toward the well constructed characters and what they are going through. Romance, intrigue, adventure and layers more. The story really does pull the reader in and keeps one gripped with every turn of a page. I wish it had gone on and will be greatly anticipating any new books by this author.
