Bone dust is set in a future where the human civilisation has peaked but not yet declined. Derek is an investigator called in to investigate the apparent suicide of the famous computer scientist and mathematician mr Smoove. Arriving at the scene of the crime Derek finds that the room with the body has been sealed off by the in house computer due to an unidentified substance in the air. What starts as a suicide investigation soon unravels happenings that opens up a world completely unknown to Derek and makes him start to question the very basic things he has always taken for granted.
