About the Author

Dear Reader, I have been creating rhymes, limericks, stories of fact, fiction and wonder ever since my children were born. (corny and funny as they may have been). It has been fun. Now I have put together a partial collection of poetry for read-aloud parents or young first readers. Some of the poetry is, pure fiction - figments of my imagination - some are funny - some have a better living lesson. Hopefully, my audience will love what I do and want to buy my future bookds as they come into print. Personal Info about the author: I was born in Massachusetts in a little town called Chelsea. I was the youngest child in the family having only one sister. I was raised in a love hate atmosphere. My mother loved me; my sister did not but she learned to and we are now the best of friends. When I was three my family quickly moved to Boston and my father opened a grocery store when consignment came into vogue. You know what consignment is - you get merchandise on credit and pay later, maybe. It worked wonderfully but today something has changed and consignment seems to have disappeared completely. I married at nineteen and had three wonderful kids, two sons and a daughter. They moved out as soon as they became completely independent or interdependent - like married. And that's when the fighting stopped. I miss it. Now with time on my hands my idea was to get modern and join the twentieth century so I got a computer, a donation from a family member. It really feels like home because I am fighting again (with my computer that is). Also, during those intervening years I became proficient in tow non-income producing skills, ballroom dancing and a teachers' aide for conversational English. All the while I kept writing. Just so you know, I am to writing what Grandma Moses is to painting - a senior senior. I have been writing verse and childrens stories most of my life without thought of publishing until now. This book, "Book #1, Just for Fun" is the legacy I am leaving for future generations of children in the world. It is meant to entertain, to enlighten and encourage thought. If I am guilty of any of these things, than I am a success. If this were a feast I would say Bon Appetit - my friend - Bon Appetit.
