BOOK OF ANGELS: The Ministering of Angels in the Last Days

As a Christian, I am confident that what believers are looking for today is something to lift them and give them hope; something which speaks to both the good in man and the greatness of a loving God. Book of Angels does just that. It is more than a tale of the supernatural. It is a powerful testament to the ministering of angels and the omniscience of the Almighty Creator. It brings to light eternal laws of opposition and man's agency as they play out in God's plan of salvation.
Following the loss of his daughter to leukemia and his right arm to a rookie cop mistake, Jack Randall's life had become a double vodka on the rocks. Forced to take some time off, Jack, a 25-year veteran NYPD homicide detective, boards Flight 201 from JFK to Miami for a month of soul searching and deep-sea fishing. On the flight, Jack encounters a mysterious elderly lady who knows something about the aircraft that neither he nor the flight crew are aware of. Halfway to Miami, the flight makes an unscheduled stop in a farmer's field following a 30,000 foot plunge to earth. Although there were few survivors, Jack and a sassy teenage girl walk away from the wreckage without so much as a scratch. Haunted by visions of their miraculous survival, the two are led to the Miami home of the strange old lady where they discover an ancient angelic record, the Book of Angels. They soon discover that Lucifer's dark forces are in search of the same record and their elderly traveling companion.
Jack and the girl quickly team up with an attractive lawyer, a professor emeritus of religious studies, and a teenage boy blessed with psychic abilities to unlock the secrets of the record, gather the powers revealed therein, and seal them from Lucifer's evil designs.
Book of Angels is the first in a series of books which follows these unwitting warriors in God's army who, emboldened by the ministering of angels, rise in answer to their calling and learn that they may well be the only hope that mankind has to oppose the evil combinations of Lucifer and preserve the eternal right of mankind to seek and obtain salvation.
