Gao (Arizona State University) and Davies (Glasgow University) present three-dimensional nonlinear code for boundary element analysis of solid continua. The book is divided into two parts on linear analysis and nonlinear analysis that review the theory of elasticity before translating the governing differential equations into integral equations and numerical methods. The elastic program code consists of 26 subroutines and the elasto-plastic program code of 17 subroutines. The CD-ROM contains Fortran source code BEMECH. Annotation c.
