About the Author

Jane Lee has two sons and four grandsons. She has spent many hours attending soccer practices and games. Originally she wrote this story for her son Michael who was the first one in her family to play. Her grandson Brenden played more recently so she changed the title’s name from Michael to Brenden. Jane was a teacher for over thirty years and recently retired from the Pinellas County School District in Florida. She spent 24 years of her career teaching middle school students and loved every minute working with this age group. She is married and has a daughter as well as her two sons.
