About the Author

Charles Napier Robinson (1849-1936) was a commander in the service of the Royal Navy; he was decorated with the award of Territorial Decoration. His works include Old Naval Prints; Naval Bridges in the South African War, 1899–1900; Celebrities of the Army; and In the Queen’s Navee.
