Buckets of Trust
"Trust is the single most important aspect of our lives" claims author Joshua Vandgrift, "yet we tend to hand it out to people and entities who are unfit to receive it...resulting in heartache, emotional issues, and even physical hardship or death".
In his first book, Buckets of Trust, Mr. Vandgrift dives into the often avoided - yet very important topic of "Trustworthiness" by discussing the most common mistakes we make in handling our trust; recognizing the various positive and negative attributes of trustworthiness, and how we should measure the trustworthiness of others. He also shares a simple theory or analogy that we can use to help in managing our trust more effectively and intentionally, in both our personal lives and in our professional lives.
This quick read challenges much of what we've been previously taught about trustworthiness, and will hopefully help reduce the number of trust-based mistakes we make in the future.

About the Author

Joshua Vandgrift is a not-so-typical, not-so-average guy. He's a musician; a licensed pilot; a web developer; a photographer; a business consultant, and a serial entrepreneur. His latest startup is a web and graphic development company called Relative Creative (www.relativecreative.com). He also recently launched a publishing company, Relative Publishing, while creating this book...hopefully the first of many.
Mr. Vandgrift was born and raised in Hancock County, a small area tucked away in Western Kentucky. After spending time as an EMT on the local ambulance service, he left the sleepy little town he grew up in to study Aerospace/Aviation at Middle Tennessee State University and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (although, that didn't turn out very well). His greatest accomplishment in life came in 2006 when he sweet-talked his lovely wife, Lori Vandgrift, into marriage. Together they have three beautiful children and reside in Owensboro, KY.
"Buckets of Trust" is his first of four planned books, with his next book anticipated to be released in mid 2014.
