About the Author

I lived in Japan about 14years ago for about 7 years but now I'm back in Oz. I study law part-time and earn a crust teaching ESL. Writing is a hobby and a way of coming to terms with my time in Japan and the transition back to life in Australia although recently I've been concentrating on my other hobby, music. You can find me on soundcloud as Beerubaraoyaji. I am pretty much done writing about Japan and had been working on a new novel about a band in the 80s. Unfortunately the harsh realities of life have forced me to put on hold any ambition as a writer for the time being as I put my life back together after losing my wife to cancer in the middle of 2013. I may write about the experience but right now I am busily involved in the experience and feel no need to write about it at this point in time. Anyway, enjoy the novel as many (but not all) have and I hope to get something else up sometime in the future.
