Leaving The Skulls was the best and worst decision of his life. Butch knew to keep his woman, Cheryl and her young son safe, he needed to make sacrifices, and pulling out of the club was the only way to go. Cheryl loves Butch, but she will not accept him quitting the club. She doesn’t need him to become a saint in order to love him.

Butch cannot understand that and is more than willing to make any sacrifice necessary for Cheryl, but now those very sacrifices are about to tear apart everything he’s ever known.

With a new threat facing them and no way for him to protect his woman, Butch has to make a choice. However, Butch is not all that he seems. He’s got a past that even The Skulls don’t know about, and no one is safe.

Life as The Skulls know it is about to be blown apart.

Good story but the under lying story is starting to drag out to long. Wish these books were longer. The books are good reads

Talk about being pulled in a million directions! Its hard being loyal to just one club, what with all the secrets and crap but to have more than two clubs depending on you, plus your wife and kid, a drug a cartel, a whole town.....the pressure is on! I understand why Butch felt the need to leave the club, I don't think his reasons were stupid, selfish nor because he was scared, he thought he was doing the right thing at the time, yeah it turned out horribly wrong, but his heart was in the right place. Things are heating up with this Gonzalez character, these two clubs need to up their game and start thinking outside of the box if they want to win the war against this new and old enemy! (The Skulls and Chaos Bleeds) Overall, very good story, very emotional, does get the reader upset with all the club rules and politics but I guess they are in place for a reason. What goes for one member goes for all and while Tiny may seem like an unfeeling prick, he's a fair president and does what's right for his club and family, even if we don't agree with it. On the plus side, at least for me, Lash and Angel didn't make any appearances in this book so YAY! I can't stand either character so I was happy they were kept out, with the exception of a few sporadic phone calls from Lash to Butch, but those were few...thank goodness. FYI: As to be expected with every book in this series there is a slight, very slight cliffhanger, not a massive one. Butch and Cheryl's story has been told and finished, the next book should be about The Skulls getting revenge, nothing big was left hanging...so no worries... SR

Major cliffhanger. And I'm not in the mood for cliffhangers. My patience for cliffhangers ended when Harry Potter is finished.
