Callie's New Friend

Callie woke early. She looked out of her bedroom window to find a ship beached on the beach of her town. She tells her father. Callie goes to ring the warning bell to call the people of the town to come to the beach. A ghost pirate captain grabs her swinging body to stop her from making a noise. She is the only one, who can see him. The two of them become friends. He causes trouble for the people, who go on board the wrecked ship to search for injured sailors, and to remove any cargo. The ship is kept there as a monument, and tourist attraction.

About the Author

I'm have worked hard and struggled most of my life. I write short stories, novels, poetry and dabble in scripts.  They are all grown with families of their own. With the passing of my mother a couple of years ago I'm concentrating on my writing, blogging. Writing is the thing, which kept me sane through all the hassles. Plus the company of the many "Ghosts" who have taken up residence with me. Sometime they want me to write when I want to sleep. Writing also helps keep my mind off of all the pain in my muscles, and joints. When each story ends, I fell as though another child has left home.
