Overview

Isaiah isn't supposed to be back in New York. Giving himself to the Vigilant, he is to leave his old life behind, to become the ghost that a knight must be in order to fight a secret war with the dragons that secretly rule the world. He strives to do just that as he stalks the streets of his former home, but there is one thing that he simply can't abide. Katie was meant to be a ballerina, so when Isaiah finds her beholden to a disgusting, mid-level mafioso, he's torn between sacred vows to his brotherhood and his heart and soul. About the Author

Keith Holmes is a disciple of creation: a cook, a voice actor, a musician, a song writer, a foodie, a script-writer, an author, a comic-book guy... he likes to think of himself as a southern gentlemen, a practical guy who can fix his own vehicle, skin a buck, or offer up a fine bowl of shrimp n' grits, a southern renaissance man whose ridden in everything from hay wagons to limos and who can find the good in all of it. Keith is a collector of experiences and as such, has a varied history. he's been a farm hand, a garbage man, the GM of a medical equipment supply and a web developer. He's the co-owner of his own comic book imprint, worked as an 'everything' on a shoestring film that he co-wrote, and appears in some local radio commercials as voice talent (which he also wrote). As an author, Keith tends toward the supernatural, having grown up with the folktales of the south, but he's fiercely devoted to what he calls, 'immersion', guiding the reader into plausible worlds. He admits he's a research hound, obsessing over details that never make it into the final work, and takes great pride in character development down to the last follicle. Keith Holmes is a father, a husband, a Freemason, and tries to make a positive impact on the people around him and his community. But when asked what the one thing he'd most like to include in an "Author's Bio" is, he's quick to say: "Interest in where I've been and where I'm going is always appreciated, but it's my job - regardless of those things, to entertain you, to make you think, to make you feel... to make you a part of the world I've created, to make you want to be there. If I've done that, then that is my greatest reward."
