Celtic Rune by Lexy Timms

In a world plagued with darkness, she would be his salvation.

Linzi risks everything when, instead of killing the savage Viking lying already half-dead on her field, she chooses to save him. With her brother gone to war and her father gravely ill, she watches over their home and helps the handsome stranger back to health.

Erik never planned to fall in love with the foreign land under his feet, nor did he think he would ever wake in the arms of a fiery red-haired Scot woman who won't leave his thoughts.

Will passion at the touch of the enemy unravel everything they have spent their lives building?

Fall in love with this Historical Celtic Viking Romance.

* This is a 3 book series. Book 1 will end on a cliff hanger.
*Note: this is NOT erotica. It is a historical romance and a fighting love story.

Good for the late night "I'm bored but want something fun" read. Probably wont read it again but if I remember when the next sequel comes out, I'll probably buy it.

I hate how it ended! Like did she kill him or did she drive the dagger into the ground? I have a feeling she missed him on purpose though because of what he had said. Gonna buy the next book soon.

I am really enjoying learning about the Celtic Invasion of England and Scotland and especially getting to know the handsome Celtic Viking warrior Erik. I've already ordered The second book in the series, looking forward to Linzi and Erik finding love.

First time reader of her .. enjoyed  .. will be getting more  ..  I feel this series deserves more than 3.5 ..  anonymously  asked some good questions  .. but you can easily pick apart any romance novel  .. enjoyed the story  not the reality of it  .. didn't give a 5 because they are a little too short for me  .. good job

When I read the sample I was hesitant but curious to find out what the book was about. The first chapter proved hard to get myself involved in but I held out in hopes it would engrose me into the world. Unfortunately I found myself in a constant state of confusion not only by the plot of the story but also by the characters themselves. Confused by not only what they disscused but also their actions. This war would have happened around the late 800 so with that in mind. Why would a prince wish to be a farmer? Why does peasant speak like she's educated, why is the prince on the battlefield? Why does he say his father is dead yet his cousin speaks of the king as being very much alive? Why is this prince who has up to this point had no problem with pillaging and rape, now acting the gentlemen to his enemy? Many more questions and too few answers leaves me unable to finish this book. Don't waste your money, the idea is great, the execution of it was aweful.
