Born in Evanston, WY, Monica D. Pitts-Lack and her family traveled much of the West, United States as her dad worked in the oil field. Eventually, she and her family found home in Laurel, MS. A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Monica earned a degree in child and family studies. In her spare time, she enjoys coffee, reading, music and the Summer.
