This is a fun read. Good for young readers around Charlie's grade. They have recess and one teacher for all subjects so I am guessing second or third grade. As a mystery lover, I can't really call this a mystery; it's more like a sitcom. the situation is ridiculous and features an escaped lizard. Mayhem ensues. Very funny. An interesting look at an elementary school day with all sorts of fun and cliquey characters. I enjoyed this story. It was only 37 pages. the final six pages were blurbs for other Maggie M Larche books/series.

Title: Hilarious “Charlie Bingham Gets Clocked” by Maggie M. Larche Reviewed by T’s Blogging 2/14/2016 11:27 a.m. Author Maggie M. Larche’s, Charlie Bingham Gets Clocked, is outright hilarious and relatable. Larche’s main character, Charlie, has a crush on his elementary teacher and does everything humanly possible to stay in her good graces. But when his friend, Brad, loses his scaly friend and the teacher’s favorite clock is stolen, Charlie is thrown into a situation that can shatter everything! This age appropriate chapter book is comical, introduces a few new vocabulary words for young readers, and creates a platform to discuss problem resolutions. But more importantly, it is a new read with new characters that book lovers will truly enjoy. I give “Charlie Bingham Gets Clocked” 4 out of 5 stars. Happy Reading T’s Blogging
